Pie Palooza

Join the Guffey Community Charter School for the Annual Pie Palooza! The evening will feature a pie contest, a melodrama about pie, and a live pie auction! There are four categories for the pie contest: fruit, cream, savory, and other. Ribbons will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, and one very talented baker will be awarded Best In Show. This person will join the Guffey School Pie Palooza Wall of Fame with past Pie Palooza champions!

Entertainment will be provided by our talented Guffey School students. They will present a melodrama on the very popular subject of PIE. Following that, the audience will get to taste each pie entered in the contest. After the pie tasting comes the much-awaited live pie auction!

Everyone is welcome, admission is free, and the pie is always plentiful! You may enter as many pies as you like, but you must make two of each pie; one for tasting and one for the auction. All proceedings from the auction go to benefit programs at the Guffey School.

Free childcare is available in the Guffey School music room during the event.

If you are interested in making pies for this event, please contact Kelli Maguire at 719-689-2093 or kmaguire@guffeyschool.org.
