The Guffey Community Association (GCA) manages the Guffey Community Center and Guffey Shares. The Guffey Shares website and email list was created to bring neighbors together and share news with the community. These ventures are funded by GCA membership dues, paid annually. There is no charge to join the Guffey Shares email list. However, a membership is required to use the Guffey Community Center building.

If you’re a Guffey-area resident and GCA member, you can enjoy these benefits:

• A key code giving access to the Guffey Community Center during the hours of 5 AM to 10 PM every day

• Access to a weight room with a weight machine, free weights, stair step machine, stationary bike, and a treadmill

• A professional-size pool table

• A ping pong table

• A foosball table

• A racquetball/wallyball/basketball court

• A horseshoes pit

• A facility for community meetings and events

Membership requirements:

• You must be 18 years or older

• You must own property in the Guffey area

• Pay the annual dues of $20

• Adhere to the Guffey Community Center building rules.

Additional benefits:

Members can reserve the community center for private functions. You must update the calendar on the Guffey Shares website, notify a board member, and pay a $25 deposit for cleaning. On the Communicate tab, use the form to submit a request to reserve the community center for your event.
