Become a Member of the Guffey Community Association - Membership has its privileges! Become a member of the GCA to support the Guffey Shares Email List and this website, and to ensure our community center is cleaned and looked after. Membership also gives you access to the Community Center building to use its facilities. Membership dues are only $20 a year. To become a member, send a $20 check with your completed application to the address on the form. You and your family will receive your own personal access code to the building.
To renew an existing membership, send your $20 check to Guffey Community Association, PO Box 111, Guffey, CO 80820. You don’t have to complete a new form.
Before using the Guffey Community Center, review the building rules.
Guffey Shares Email List - Use the Guffey Shares mailing list to share local news and announcements with your Guffey neighbors. To join Guffey Shares, complete the Sign-up form below, making sure to select Sign up for news and updates. You must be a subscriber of Guffey Shares before you can send an email to all subscribers.
To submit an email to everyone on the Guffey Shares subscriber list, complete the Request form. Please note, we monitor all email requests before sending the email to our subscribers. When composing your message, we ask that you respect all individuals in our community, regardless of their personal or political affiliations. Click here to read our guidelines.
IMPORTANT: When you complete the Sign-up form, we ask for your Guffey address to verify your connection to the community, so if you don't have a local address, include a description of your affiliation in the Message box.
Click Submit at the bottom of the page to send your Sign-up request.
Guffey Shares Email Sign-up
Do you need a ride? If you are a resident of the Guffey area and want transportation to and from a doctor or dentist appointment, the Guffey Fire Department can transport you. They can transport to Colorado Springs, Woodland Park, or Canon City. Call Fire Station #1 between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to make your appointment: 719-689-9479. (Service is provided to district residents free of charge. Medicare/Medicaid may be charged.)
